What a collaboration with The Ninevites looks like

Every collaboration starts with a story. We research the cultural references, materials and meaning behind your brief, then translate them into a textile design that is contemporary, authentic and made by hand.

  • Artist collaborations. Our collection includes rugs and blankets designed with South African artists and studios such as Paul Martins, Granada Hill, Studio Akakir and Breeze Yoko.
  • Brand collaborations. Limited editions and capsule collections for fashion, lifestyle and corporate brands.
  • Institutional projects. Commissions for cultural institutions, foundations and public spaces.

Past collaborators include Penguin Random House UK, Rand Merchant Investment, Trenery and the Nordic Culture Fund.
