A rug anchors a room, so it should fit it properly. The Ninevites creates custom rugs in mohair and wool, from choosing the right size for an existing design to commissioning a completely original piece for your home, hotel, office or public space.
How our custom rugs work
1. Choose a design. Start with any rug in our collection, or share an idea, a colour palette or a reference with our studio.
2. Choose your fibre and size. Every design is available in lustrous South African mohair or wool, in eight standard sizes from 100cm x 150cm up to 250cm x 350cm. Need something different? Tell us your dimensions.
3. Commission something unique. Since 2012 The Ninevites has worked with artists, brands and institutions on commissioned textile pieces, including personalised pieces such as our name wall hanging. We will guide you from concept to finished rug.
